Warning: Somebody is currently editing this post (WP 3.6.1 bug)

After updating to 3.6.1 I started getting this message : "Warning: Somebody
is currently editing this post" on making a new post. If I am editing a
post it will say "Warning: myName is currently editing this post". Could
someone point to how to fix that. I would still like to see if somebody
else is editing the post just in case, tho.

Could you provide the steps to replicate this so we can try to figure out what the problem really is? What plugins/themes do you have installed? Have you tried this with the default theme and all plugins disabled?

Personal suggestion, turn off all plugins and enable the twenty thirteen theme. See if it happens again. Turn on your theme. See if it happens. Start turning on plugins one by one and check to see if it still happens. When you find the culprit, try to troubleshoot yourself or email this list again with the name of the plugin/theme. I think you'll get more relevant help if you follow that path.

I also noticed that if I try to edit a post that is being edited by someone
else at the moment I will not get the modal asking me to take over or go
back ...
